Today we will be introducing an urban aquarium located in the center of Sapporo, facing Tanukikoji Shopping Street.
This aquarium is called AOAO SAPPORO and is said to be the gateway to nature in the city.
When I actually went there, I found that the first floor below was a commercial building with a normal general store and various other shops, but the moment I climbed to the AOAO floor, I was in a different world.
The inorganic concrete walls and the factory-like scenery really brought out the brilliance of the small fish, seaweed, and aquatic plants, and it was truly a sight to behold!
The highlight of AOAO is
The cute penguins swim freely in the big, deep tank, and some even lie down!
It was truly a different world within the city.
