Sapporo Lilac Festival was held from May 15th to May 26th in Odori Park this year.
Sapporo is surrounded by beautiful lilac flowers every spring. This festival "Sapporo Lilac Festival" attracts to a lot of tourists and local people.
During this festival, Sapporo is full of the smell of lilac.
The attraction of this festival is beautiful lilac flowers and centering around Odori park, about 400 lilac tree is bloomed.
Various colours of lilac is bloomed and it is like art.
During this festival, there are a lot of stores for local foods and local products of Hokkaido so you can enjoy them. Especially, sweets or beverage which is themed by lilac is very popular.
You can enjoy seeing lilac, foods and a lot of things in this festival.
It's held every spring (Around May)
You can go to Odori Park about 25 minutes on foot from our hotel.
