We are introducing about Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park.
This park is famous place for shibazakura (moss phlox) in every May to June. Shimazakura is like carpet with pink, white and purple colour and it makes you relax. The shibazakura is in vast property and it is breathtaking beauty and it feels you spring.
There are various highlight spots in this park. You can survey from the dec and the scenery is breathtaking.
Also, they maintain the promenade so you can walk there while enjoying seeing flowers. Moreover, there are shops for souvenirs or local specialities and cafe so you can enjoy sightseeing and rest there.
We are introducing the access to the Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park. If you use a car, it takes about 4 hours and half from Sapporo. And if you use transportations, it takes about 3 hours and half from JR Sapporo station to Kitami station. And then, you can take a bus or rent a car. If you have enough time, it is also good to sightseeing around Kitami.
